I did an experiment with some custom ringtones for notifications and alarms and it worked. I found some custom ringtones on a site called Mobiles24 .com. the reason why I did this was because if I’m in another room and I need to be able to hear I put some custom ringtones downloaded them and then move them to the alarms and to the notifications folders respectively .for the notifications I would recommend the shorter ringtones because it won’t work too well with longer ringtones.for the alarms it doesn’t matter. the one phone that I have set I like Westminster Chimes and Good morning Vietnam and I found a crazy baby laugh which is for the alarms . you should have a good time looking on meloboom .com andmobiles24 and another one is Red ringtones they’re not exactly accessible for searching but they’re good for browsing and you can still go to the ringtone and download it on any of these three sites that I recommende
Hey, what file types for alarms? I have made a track for alarm but do not know what length or file format it needs to be. xx
the good news here is that you can do all of this from your phone. the most important thing is to have file manager installed on your phone. if you don’t have it you will find it in the app catalog on your phone. the ringtones that you select will automatically be in your downloads folder located either in your internal storage or if you have a MicroSD card installed it will be there. what you do with the ringtones is go to your download folder select the ringtone that you want and it will give you several options. select either the copy to folder or the move to folder because both procedures will be the same then go to your alarms folder which will be the first one in your internal storage and then click okay on it press your downbar and it will say whichever move here and if you want to move it press okay and then it will ask you are you sure you want to move it here and you do so press okay again and then you’re done

I understand, what I meant is what format of audiofile does the alarm need to be, mp3, wav, m4a etc? It doesn’t list the alarm track when I move it to the alarms folder. It does appear as a file, but does not appear in the alarm app, which is why I was wondering what type of audio track file you used. xx
all of the ringtones that I use are already in MP3 format so when you download the file from the side it will automatically go to your downloads folder and from your downloads folder you can move it to your alarms so it’s very easy and the easiest website that I have is Mobile’s 24
I forgot to complete the instructions on selecting an alarm. once you have downloaded the alarm to your alarms folder in order to select it you have to go under settings to sounds and then from there select melodies and from The Melodies you select the alarm sound and then you pick the alarm that you want press okay on it and there you have the alarm selected
